Activated carbon cartridge
Activated carbon cartridges are generally used in vacuum chlorinators. In almost every system, short pressure surges can occur in the vacuum system during operation, which can cause the extremely sensitive safety blow-off valve to respond briefly and thus trigger a warning on the gas warning device. To ensure that only a "real" hazardous situation is signalled by the gas warning device and leads to the corresponding reactions, these unwanted warnings are prevented by installing an activated carbon cartridge in the blow-off line.
