Chlorine systems require constant monitoring of the chlorine supply and the chlorine pressure. The chlorine tanks filled with liquid chlorine are under saturated vapour pressure depending on the temperature; they could be exposed to impermissibly high temperatures, particularly in industrial applications. It is therefore advisable to monitor the cylinder pressure in order to switch off the heating or bring about cooling at the right time.
