How does the flow rate of the LubeDrive change when pumping gear oil?

The LubeDrive works on the displacement principle, which is why the flow rate increases linearly with the drive speed. While we recommend the first gear stage of the cordless screwdriver for highly viscous media such as grease, the second gear stage can be used for less viscous media such as gear oil. Due to the lower Viscosity of the medium, a lower torque is required, which means that the Pump can be operated at a higher speed.

Practical tests have shown that when pumping gear oil with the LubeDrive, a flow rate of approx. 5 to 6 liters per minute can be achieved. The actual delivery capacity that can be achieved continues to depend on the speed and available torque of the cordless screwdriver used.
