The contents of wastewater is subjected to chemical oxidisation in a specially designed procedure through the addition of oxidants, catalysts, and concentrated sulphuric acid (96%). This converts them into a degradable form for the subsequent biological process.
It is critical for the success of the treatment process that the quantity of sulphuric acid added bears a precise relationship to the reaction as it proceeds. Not only is a precise dosing pump crucial but also the right accessories. Suction lances, priming aids, suction pressure regulators, back-pressure valves, pulsation dampers, injection nozzles and dosing valves are critical components of a functioning dosing system.

Mounted on a polypropylene panel together with accessories such as pressure-relief valves, fittings, flushing connections and pulsation dampeners, the dosing pumps are electronically controlled and fitted with a glass spray guard. They can be installed in a frost-proof manner if required.
