The pH value of drinking water and in swimming pools is decisive both for the safety of the water for people and the environment and for the chemical processes in the water. A stable pH value is thus one of the most important requirements.

Caustic soda or other alkaline solutions are dosed to the water liquid dosing station in order to raise its pH value; sulphuric acid, hydrochloric acid or similar agents are added to lower it. This is performed via a liquid dosing station. The pH value can be corrected automatically using the measurement and control technology.
