The environmentally friendly operation of car washing installations depends on the precise dosing of the chemical additives. This is ensured by the use of dosing pumps. The leak-free diaphragm dosing pumps ensure highly precise dosing of the detergent and the wax to ensure optimal washing results, thereby minimising environmental pollution.
Dosing pumps are also used in washing installations for trains and trams. Each washing installation is fitted with four or five dosing pumps. The pump has a drainage system, so that any chemicals that leak within the pump are returned directly to the tank. The integrated leakage sensor reports the incident and the pump is switched off automatically wherever necessary, thereby preventing any major impact on the environment.
