Chlorine gas – the most commonly used disinfectant

Three quarters of all public bathing pools in Germany use chlorine gas systems certified in accordance with DIN 19606. Chlorine gas in accordance with DIN EN 15363 is not only cost-efficient, but the sophisticated full-vacuum technology prescribed by the standard is extremely safe to use. The chlorine gas supply is automatically interrupted in the event of chlorine gas detection by the chlorine detector or, even better, through the use of a safety blow-off valve Plus with an internal contact for positive pressure on the chlorine gas tank. This works reliably to prevent the uncontrolled release of chlorine gas even in the event of system defects.
