System solutions from the Lutz Group for modern wastewater treatment plants with four purification stages
Phosphorus elimination in wastewater treatment plants – high-precision MEMDOS Smart dosing pumps
Phosphorus elimination is a key task for every municipal wastewater treatment plant. With the stepper-motor diaphragm dosing technology of the MEMDOS Smart range from Lutz-Jesco, plant operators can dose aluminium sulphate or iron(III) chloride directly into the aeration tank with a repeatability of ±1%. This optimises chemical consumption, ensures reliable compliance with limit values and turns phosphate precipitation into a stable process.
- Repeatability of +/- 1 per cent thanks to modern stepper-motor diaphragm dosing technology
- Optimised chemical consumption thanks to automatic adjustment to the wastewater flow
- Eight performance levels between 2.6 l/h and 182 l/h, suitable for every plant size
- Versions in PP, PVC, PVDF and stainless steel for continuous operation in harsh environments
Safe dosing of aggressive chemicals in wastewater treatment plants – MAGDOS dosing pump
When dosing highly aggressive chemicals, leak-tightness and material resistance are crucial. MAGDOS dosing pumps from Lutz-Jesco fully separate the drive from the pump medium. The media come into contact only with highly resistant plastics, meaning that corrosion is ruled out. They are used for odour elimination at external pumping stations, in aeration and compressed-air descaling, in phosphate precipitation in the aeration tank, and for FeCl₃ dosing in sludge dewatering.
- The magnetic drive with double ball valves ensures high dosing accuracy
- The dosing head is available in PVDF, PP, PVC or stainless steel; the diaphragm is made of PTFE
- Broad output range from 0.36 to 15 l/h
- The compact design is also suitable for smaller dosing systems
- Manual, external or 0/4 to 20 mA control, optionally with Ethernet
Wastewater treatment plant digester – eccentric screw pumps for waste oils and waste fats
In wastewater treatment plants, waste oils and waste fats are fed into the digester every day. High viscosities, fibrous content and impurities can lead to wear and failures if unsuitable pumps are used. The Lutz Pumpen eccentric screw pump tube is suitable for this application. It operates reliably at flow rates of up to 3,000 litres per hour, even with impurities and solids.
- Suitable for viscosities up to 100,000 mPas
- Corrosion-resistant: Housing and all media-contacting parts are made of stainless steel.
- Various chemically resistant rotor and stator materials for different media
- Low-pulsation pumping ensures stable feeding into the digester
- Modular design makes cleaning and replacement of spare parts easier.
Wastewater treatment plant sludge pumps – pneumatic double diaphragm pumps up to 715 l/min
Pneumatic double diaphragm pumps from Lutz Pumpen convey sludge in wastewater treatment plants from the secondary clarifier via intermediate storage tanks through to filter presses or belt dryers. Our LDE range is not only robust, but also minimises the risk of clogging, wear and failures.
- Versatile use: Pumping and dosing sludge, flocculants and pH agents
- Chemical-resistant in PP or PVDF, with nylon-fabric diaphragms
- Efficient thanks to a newly designed air control valve for high effectiveness with low air consumption
- Flexible installation: suspended, mobile, submerged, in inflow operation or self-priming

Sludge dewatering in wastewater treatment plants – EASYPURE polymer preparation station up to 5,000 l/h
Wastewater treatment plants have to reduce sludge volume in order to lower transport, disposal and recycling costs. However, imprecise polymer preparations, manual dosing and the use of several individual components make this process time-consuming, error-prone and inefficient. With EASYPURE Powder & Liquid, Lutz-Jesco offers a fully automatic system with integrated control, combining preparation, maturation and dosing of polymer solutions from powder and liquid in a single system. The three-chamber system with three agitators ensures consistent polymer quality at capacities of up to 5,000 l/h, maturation times of up to 60 minutes and concentrations of 0.1 to 0.5%
- Consistent polymer quality ensures a constant residual water content in the sludge
- Fully dissolved preparation prevents lumps and saves polymer
- Pre-assembled complete system with control unit and control cabinet minimises installation errors
- High-quality materials and enclosed design for reliable continuous operation in harsh environments
- PLC connection for seamless integration into higher-level systems
Disinfecting water in wastewater treatment plants – water disinfection with chlorine gas systems
With the C2526 vacuum chlorine gas dosing unit (DIN 19606) and the EASYZON chlorine dioxide system for in-situ production of chlorine dioxide, Lutz-Jesco supplies proven systems from a single source, including measuring and control technology, chlorine scrubbers, chlorine evaporators and safety shut-off valves. This enables oxidative degradation of trace substances and minimisation of disinfection by-products.
- C2526: fully automatic vacuum dosing with remotely adjustable control valve in accordance with DIN 19606 up to 200 kg/h
- EASYZON: In-situ production of chlorine dioxide using the acid-chlorite process, with capacities from 5 g/h to 1,400 g/h.
Measuring and control technology in wastewater treatment plants – reliable monitoring of pH, ORP and free chlorine
In fourth-stage treatment, the efficiency and safety of water disinfection are decisive for compliance with statutory limit values. Fluctuating inlet conditions and inaccurate measurements can quickly lead to over- or underdosing, with negative consequences for process stability, operating costs and effluent quality. The EASYPRO water sampling station from Lutz-Jesco records relevant parameters such as pH, ORP, free chlorine, hydrogen peroxide, turbidity, ozone, conductivity and chlorine dioxide, and provides demand-based dosing via MEMDOS dosing pumps.
- Expandable measuring technology for up to eight parameters
- Precise dosing of acids, alkalis, oxidation agents and disinfectants
- Modular system for new and existing plants
Mobile drum pumps for wastewater treatment plants – safely transferring aggressive media from IBCs and drums
Transferring media that are harmful to health involves high safety and cleanliness requirements in wastewater treatment plants. The B2 series drum pumps from Lutz Pumpen enable aggressive liquids such as acids, alkalis and oxidising chemicals to be pumped safely, quickly and with virtually no residue from IBCs, drums and canisters – either with a rechargeable battery or a mains connection, and at up to 65 l/min. For mobile chemical transfer, the B2 Battery Trolley is also available as a complete, flexible solution with tank, pump, flow meter, hose and nozzle.

Agitators for wastewater treatment plants – homogeneous mixing of chemicals in IBCs
If precipitants or caustic soda are not mixed homogeneously in IBCs and other containers, concentration differences and deposits occur. This results in inaccurate dosing, reduced effectiveness and process disruptions in the downstream application. The agitators from Lutz Pumpen and Lutz-Jesco ensure homogeneous mixtures and stable downstream processes.
- High material resistance: PPH or stainless steel
