Lifting vessels and vacuum pumps

Aids for feeding chemicals

To ensure that siphoning takes place on the suction side and a positive pressure is created at the suction valve of the pump, it is advisable to connect a gas bubble collector at the highest point of the suction line with a large nominal diameter. As long as there is liquid in this siphon container, all the gas bubbles in the suction line will collect here at the highest point and the pump will be "on supply". The liquid level in the siphon can be checked manually or automatically.

  • To improve the suction behaviour of dosing pumps
  • Simplifies the commissioning of dosing pumps
  • Additionally as a pulsation damper in the suction-side installation
  • Separation of gas bubbles upstream of the dosing pump
  • Manual vacuum pump for extracting air from the siphon vessel
